But it was a dream that may not happen until I got to know my high school wrestling Coach Solomon Fleckman at St. Benedict’s Prep in New Jersey. Fleckman was not only a coach. He was more of a mentor and parent to me and the rest of the team. On the mat, he taught us how to wrestle. But more importantly, he taught us how to ‘wrestle’ when we were off the mats. To me, coming all the way from Mongolia, it was not easy to adjust to a different environment in the beginning. There were some days I struggled and did not see how I was going to achieve my goal…However, he never left me alone. Instead, he kept pushing me towards my goal both on and off the wrestling mat. Through his genuine action of helping others, I am inspired to do great things and help others…”
